A superb mid century cubist still life. The image depicts a mirror with objects, bottles and a jug placed in front.
The paint has been applied in a thick, impasto fashion. The deep blues create depth and drama. This is an excellent example of mid 20th century cubism.
The painting is set in its original, linen fronted contemporary frame.
